Fingerprint Sensor Integration in a Smart Card
A biometric payment card FPC links the fingerprint sensor, controller and other card electronics within the card construction. Component height and sensor position must be considered alongside the flex outline and the intended lamination process.
Review the Complete Card Build
Provide the layer build-up, sensor attachment method, component envelope and connection layout. Card-system approval and durability requirements should be specified by the customer; an FPC alone does not establish payment-system compliance.
